Hello Night Knights,

It was good too see you again on Saturday. Although the weather was a bit rough you did a great job learning learning your new level 2 skills, how you guy's can be so fast, flamboyant and accurate whilst in effect being blindfolded is beyond me, well done. It's probably given you an insight into the world of the KME display team who do it all absolutely flat out at "full tilt". As the weather (and late afternoon "darkness") wasn't exactly on our side my camera settings had to be turned right up so these images are obviously not as good as those shot on a sunny summer day. In the end I just couldn't get an acceptable image and had to abandon the last few runs down the tilt completely, sorry, but the one thing a photographer needs is LIGHT.

I was here to gve moral support for a friend and hopefully get a few shots from the afternoon puisance session. Sorry, but they are very grainy due to the extreme camera sensitivity settings required by the dark indoor conditions (our equipment is geared towards outdoor action photography) but they certainly give a feel for the scale of the jumps you were taking.

We haven't and are still trying to dry our coats & cameras out - they're effective but to be fair they're only designed to be water-resistant and are not really intended to withstand the comprehensive soaking they got !

Despite the (slightly adverse !) afternoon weather we managed to fire off hundreds of shots before our camera's inevitably succumbed to the rain during the final session of jousting. After trying to dry them out with the car's air-con, we managed to bring one back to life for the final parade and managed to catch some nice end of day shots.

One of our horses was injured, meaning a lot of spare time (normally reserved for photo editing) was taken up treating him, then one my memory cards from the day was "corrupt" and wouldn't download. Most have been "software recovered" but some (notably Shelli's run at the gauntlet challenge) are incomplete so while I'm away I'll send the card for a more thorough recovery in the hope that I can get the remaining missing shots off it.

You're welcome to order any images or merchandise from this web-site or directly from me, but the best deal would be if I put a compliation disc together at a "mates rate" for the "Black Knight" (if I know what's good for me, otherwise I could end up in the sand - or steaming muck - next time round !) For compilation discs I process them to both print and email quality versions and burn them to a full colour printed disc, but I don't individually edit each image as it's time consuming and adds considerably to the cost. I can also print a souvenir mug, say using the group photo from the mill race, if you so wish.

Sorry for the delay but work rota changes meant I didn't get a day off untill Thursday so I had to work late (read very late) into the night to sort your photos ready for uploading - with over 1100 to start with it takes about four hours to sort, delete the rubbish and rename them so you can find yours without trawling through every shot (with 880 being usable quality that would take a while so I do it once so all of you don't have to !)

Please be aware that some of the images are not quite as sharp as I'd like them to be, but action photography requires good light (for fast shtter speeds) and we weren't blessed with that all afternoon - it being realy quite dim later on. Still, I think there are a few good ones of all of you - including the mysterious knight who went home at lunchtime !

I thought I'd got a night off on Tuesday, until my other half said it was a nice evening and could they try out the CC course at Lazy Acres - and that I should come along and take some photo's of them - if I didn't mind walking a few miles !

We specialise in equine photography, working mainly at the "International Warwick School of Riding" and several local riding clubs, and what really seperates us from the majority of our competitors is our pricing - most are just plain greedy and we really think they charge far too much for their photo's. We already have full time jobs to pay the mortgage so we can afford to offer the same, if not better, quality but at much more reasonable prices. IF YOU'RE HAPPY WITH THE IMAGES EXACTLY AS THEY ARE, AND DON'T WANT THEM EDITED OR ENHANCED IN ANY WAY, you're welcome to use the "buy prints" button and place your order straight away. I would recomend that you only order SMALL PRINTS using this method (ie 6x4" or 7x5") as they are reduced & compressed files. Hi Everyone, for the second show running we were unable to print "on site" due to rather expensive technical issues - did it make you jump when my new printers blew up ? After having mini generator problems previously I decided to hook them up to a much bigger geni this time around - but it seems it was too powerfull and it massivily overloaded the printer power supply units ! Is anyone out there good with electronic repairs ?

Hi Everyone, sorry Sunday didn't go very well for me so we were unable to print on the day as normal - my generator packed up just as we were getting ready to print and then I had an accident on the way to fetch a replacement - I thought Friday 13th was supposed to be unlucky but I'll be keeping my head down on Sunday 13th's from now on !

Hi Guys & Girls, have you dried out yet ? What a morning for riding / & attempting to take your photo's !

Sorry, we've had real nternet/email access issues over the last two weeks as we've changed over internet providers, but at last I think we're back up and running so here goes with uploading your photo's - fingers crossed !

The pics aren't exactly fabulous (might have had something to do with the weather !) as my camera settings had to be pushed right up to their max so they're a bit on the grainy side, but if you want any they can be considerably improved as part of our editing process. As the're not up to our normal high quality output I'll only charge a nominal price for any prints ordered direct from ourselves ie.£2.00 for a 7x5 print, or £3.00 for a 10x8, with 75p for post & packing.

Hi to everyone at Meriden,

Sorry for the delay in getting these photo's on-line - we've had limited email & internet access for two weeks due to communication issues between the old and new internet providers, but should now be better equipped as we enter our fourth year photographing the equestrian scene.

Debbie came down for this day, but as she doesn't run as fast as me (she'd rather ride if she needs to go faster than walking pace !) she had to shoot many of the pics from a distance - but the first two photos shows what we do as part of our editing process - we can zoom in, sort out the colour and brightness plus add a caption if you require at no extra charge.

This gallery ONLY contains SAMPLE PHOTO'S so please DO NOT order anything without contacting us first - the quailty is low for security reasons and you would be disappointed if you ignored these warnings. (nb.If those members who ordered photo's back in May would like to get in touch I will gladly replace them with high quality prints !)

As horse owners ourselves we think we know what you want, ie good photo's, shot from flattering angles and at reasonable prices - so since we entered the equestrian photography scene four years ago that's what we have tried to offer. We shoot well over 10,000 photo's a season, using good quality semi-pro spec camera's, so we can normally offer good results (weather permitting !) at very competative prices. Often photo's don't look too good straight out of the camera so we usually edit them (ie zooming in and enhancing colour & brightness) to get the best from them before delivery.

If you have already ordered photo's through Kat, as part of your package, you may have either two small prints (6"x4" or "7"x5") or one enlargement (10"x8" or A4). Alternativily, if you'd like them as digital files on a CD (so you can email them or get multiple prints/enlargements) that's no problem, you can still have two images as part of your package. Hi Guys, nice to meet you last Saturday when Debbie & Alex came along to join you for a bit of Gymkhana fun with River & Thomas.

We are semi-professional event photographers who already work for several local clubs and venues. Hi Kat, what have you been doing to yourself ?

Putting yourself out of action and ending up not being able to have fun on "your" funday doesn't seem like a very good idea !

Unfortunately, while I was warm and dry (at work) Deb got a good soaking with all of you guy's, shame ! Still, I did get wet on the Saturday, so it didn't all go my way either.

The weather presented a few challenges (rain, rain, more rain and dark clouds) so a couple of hundred images have already been killed off by the delete key. There's still 600+ to review so it's a good job you've got time on your hands ! Remeber that the first 100 edits are already paid for, if you want more than that additional images can be edited at a nominal 25p each.

If you want them on a CD, it may be easier than viewing them via the internet, let me have your address and I'll pop them in the post for you.

That was one of the wettest "Stag Knights" we can remember, the challenge for you not to drown when sword fighting, with a seperate challenge for us to keep the camera's protected enough and still get decent shots.

This gallery only contains low-res SAMPLES to give you an idea of what we got - they can't be printed. Wizz through them using the thumbnails on the left, then click on the thumbnail for a bigger version. They run in roughly chronological order so grab a beer (or pack) ((but not if you're at work!)) and follow the prompts to view them either individually (clicking the large image takes you to the next) or as a slide show.

They include everything from the day, the good, the bad and the ugly - some great shots and some really bad ones ! As it was very wet/dull most were shot at high ASA ratings (up to 3200ASA) so are a bit grainy and low contrast (the necessary sacrifice to get fast shutter speeds to minimise action blurring) but most will improve considerably with editing.

Individual photo's are available directly through the site, but if you want to do it this way I'll need to upload print-res files. If you want a multiple photo's please contactly me directly as we offer personal discounts that my gallery can't. However, the most popular option for Stag party's is to have "everything from the day on a disc" and then share them out between you - so I'II send details of a very special price and how to order to your email addresses.

Welcome to our 2007 photo gallery of Berkswell's second annual talent show - "Berkswell Has Talent" - taking place at a new, larger Balsall Common venue as it has outgrown it's original home at the reading rooms with it's success.

What a start to the 2007 season, you were so lucky with the weather - one day's sun making an appearance between a week of rain - yes we know the ground was a "bit" wet, but that's far better than jousting in torrential rain ! !

For obvious reasons I can only publish the daytime photos on this gallery, some of the evening shots are a bit too XXX for public viewing - (does "groom whipping", a blow up doll and a couple of blondes ring any bells ??) - but they are available on CD as required.

OK - so today there was just one word to sum up the conditions - WET, well maybe two - VERY WET ! ! The rain was distinctly camera unfriendly so was a bit of challenge for Deb (photographically) - but at least you got to earn your bronze swimming awards as well as your "Knight Skool" trophies (mugs) !

Never before have we had such contrasting weather conditions - bright sun and deep shadows one minute, cloud, heavy rain and distinctly camera unfriendly conditions the next (did it snow ?) - it just didn't know what it wanted to do so was as much challenge for us (photographically) as for you to demonstrate your knightly skills.

At last some of my snaps from this "non-working" day at this show - it's been a busy week. Appologies for so many shot's of "spotties" - but it was our spotted geldings first show - that's him in the first photo !

Sorry for the slight delay in getting this weekends photo's on the gallery - it's been a busy weekend starting with your activity day, then rushing off to an evening venue before covering the the Kenilworth Show - featuring, amongst other attractions, the Knights of Middle England display team.

The photo's have been sorted - deleting over of the 300 less sucessful ones - to save you time viewing them. Of these there are 250 of swordfighting alone - 20-30 per couple - so save time by scrolling through the thumbnails before viewing your sequence in detail.

Once again the team at Warwick arranged for the worst of the weather to miss you - and although it was overcast with a bit of light rain - you missed the drenching I drove through to and from the venue ! !

Only about 400 photo's have made it through to this preview, nearly 200 have already been deleted, being compromised by the poor weather which didn't allow for high quality camera settings and fast shutter speeds. Many will now need a bit of enhancement and editing before they are ready to purchase.

Please remember that the pricing structure for our work is very flexible, we want you to have a photo souvenir of the day and will arrange individual discounts based on the number (and quality) of images's bought. If you have any questions please contact us.

While I can't really match the quality of your professional video man, hopefully you can still enjoy my photo's as a suppliment to the excellent DVD I hear he is planning.

If you'd like some of these photo's, don't take too much notice of the price list I gave you. For Stag and Hen parties we find the most popular option is a set price package for a CD-rom of all the decent images (and/or a mug) at a very reasonable price. Alternativily we can supply photo's, and other photo-merchandise, on an individual basis if you prefer.

Wow, this was a big one - 20 gallant knights generating over 1400 photo's for us to sort through.

We have managed to whittle them down to just over 1000 that are in an acceptable condition (ie in focus and without fingers over the lens !) but other than that we don't filter content. What we think may be technically good you might not like as it shows you from an unflattering angle (flat on your back covered in mud ?). What we think is bad you might just love because of a facial expession or something similar. Therefore we don't censor, we upload everything and let you find the ones that interest you.

We will contact you with full ordering details, using the email addresses you supplied, over the next couple of days. In the meantime enjoy the previews and we look forward to receiving your orders for photo's, either on paper or digital format, and other merchandise in due course.
